recently purchased a new steam deck and I wanna run the game on it. I saw previous post on how you catch just run the EXE. New to linux and steam deck so need help on how to get it to run thanks in advance

Be sure you have proton experimental installed in steam and just run LinuxStart.sh it will just boot the game but you can also just use LinuxStartGamescope.sh and it will launch it in a gamescope window fit to your screen

got it to work thanks for the help did just have to use the linuxstart.sh. Also my fault when i got the steam deck i didn't update to newest update witch could of also caused the game to not load and stay on black screen. After i updated the deck the game launched with no issues.

Hello, it launches but then there is a disclaimer about Taiwan independancy, inviting to press "Z" to aknowledge and proceed further. Using Steam Deck keyboard doesnt work...

Also what is Gamescope version that you mention? I dont see it in the .zip

use the A button after aproximately 5 seconds and the newest variant of the gamescope launcher is in the unstabledev version it was previously removed due to a compatibility issue with the current gamescope but it is added back in

Nah it doesnt work. Maybe because I'm not in full screen? (I can see the Linux task bar at the bottom of screen)

I'll try the unstable version then but I fear it will be too technical for me

just a reminder that it looks for protonexperimental be sure you download that within steam you can find it in your tools

oh yeah that apparently was a bug the dev is fixing it the gamepad wasn't initiating so it should work whenever the updates tested and pushed out which will probably be today in unstabledev

you can bind Z to a key on your deck's gamepad.

also you can just add lona.exe as a non-steam game. add force compatibility with proton and it'll also work (even better i'd say from my experience)

its already using proton with the launcher scripts and the game exe is Game.exe
