it is fixed, when the disc was moved it could be affected by low framerates. the courses that are fine were probably the ones that were not as taxing on the PC

Thank you for the response. And yes, the new download seems to be running properly. I'll take notes on any weird anomalies. I intend to put it through the paces. I've had it crash twice since updating, but I'll attribute that to my computer. On a side note, my buddy was impressed with the putting physics and how his putt translated nicely to the game. So, kudos from him.
