Hi, sorry for the confusion. There is a reason why your "pregnant and low health" is confusing, and that's cuz of a bug ^^'. Currently there is a bug with the pregnancy detection and health if set to ignored. I will be fixing it in the next update.
About the directions and blockage. I do not plan to make it one direction, but there are "corridors" that I am working on and these should be available in the beta version. These new buildings allow for quicker transfer and provide 2 spots for characters. So I hope they will be the solution to your problem.
I do like your idea of setting up the direction order, north, south, west, east. But I do not think that I will be adding it to the next update. Maybe sometime in the future.
As for the details panel, these settings only matter once the main screen settings are met. So to sort out a specific race/body type/hair color, only enable the gender/race settings in the main window and disable everything else. I will add a quick note to explain it.
