Furry as artifice, as how we'd rather be seen, those comforting fantasies and the humans underneath, good and bad.

I didn't play the previous VN, and I only got sent this way out of a friend's recommendation. I'm quite happy with my experience, besides the good writing there's the undeniable novelty of exploring Furry in this way.

Spoilers:

Thematic highlight was def with Diesel, 'unseeing' him is really, really strong.

Emotionally, though, that's Date 3 for me.  I found the interaction with Osgood a good way to thematically close up the game. It's not really about Swift, as much as it is about him. Us, the protagonist, are now the subject of someone's misconceived fantasy, both sexual and romantic, after doing so with the previous 2 guys. It does really sting, considering how naive his own dream-world seems to be, and the really rough thoughts underpinning that itself breaks the 'nice guy nerd' fantasy that he was being projected into. Layers, people!
