Thanks for playing :) Both of those bugs are being fixed in the next build.
The whole roleplaying section ended up being a total nightmare of a bugfest, but at least it's optional in case you get stuck :P
Yeah I'll try and do another save and see if that fixes it.
Reloading can fix most of those sequence breaks, but I'm releasing another build soon if not.
