While the idea of a tyrant having the chance to redeem themselves for the sake of saving the world is an interesting idea to explore, I think the execution is off. It doesn't really feel right for the protagonist to immediately give his mortal enemy a second chance, even if it seems that he has no personal beef with the tyrant in the same way his friend does, and I don't think the romance that blooms from that feels warranted.

There are a few presention issued I have. Certain tracks aren't edited to loop well, and sometimes the music doesn't fit the scene it's in. A noticeable bug I encountered involve one of the character's side images showing up during transitions and it is legitimately distracting. Another personal issue I have would be the "Some Time Later" transition card, which shows up too frequently and is also jarring to see.

The menu UI feels off, too, with the icons strewn about feeling out of place in a fantasy story.

Overall, interesting premise, but I think it could've been better. 2/5.
