You're the first person to mention a problem with the girl by the trees. That whole section hasn't been changed in any patches. I'm not sure what the issue could have been. She's the one that triggers the next step of that quest though, so you're on the right track :)
Adik's mom won't let you through the door, so you need to get creative and poke around a bit. You need Adik before you can get to Irina, she's behind a locked gate in the east.

It tells me I need a distraction but not how to get a distraction. Yes, the other kids are SUPER annoying (especailly the kid in orange) but they keep doing the same thing and it has no effect on the nanny except tog et her to threaten to spank them, which she doesnt do (which is fine. the point is to get her to spank the OP I assume).
I'm not sure I know what I'm doing wrong, but it seems like each puzzle is hidden behind another puzzle.
