There are clues. You're told you need Irina's phone for the piano. For the purse quest you just need to talk to the 3 kids that Miss Birch brought to the playground.

I talked to the kids and they seem unhelpful. One is pretending to be a nurse and the other is running around telling people he's a ninja? And the third girl just complains about not having smokes.
Then the game freezes up when I go talk to the yellow haired streetwalker and I have to start over again. (Gonna have to save more often)
