One of the most prominent reasons for many people voting for Brexit was European migration. It deflates wages and increases demand on housing, of which I keep seeing new housing projects ruining some of what was the most idyllic of countryside villages.
In my opinion the investment funds and buying up property and the over reliance on credit/mortgages to buy things you cant afford for the last 50 years, has done way more damage to the housing market than a bunch of working class europeans. I hope you get what you are asking for. Because then you wont have anyone else to shift the blame to.
