thanks that you're looking into this, NVDA is free so can be used for testing. I suggest either seeing if the PDF can support alt text, or to have a description written below. thanks!

That's a good suggestion, thank you!

I'll be honest, when I responded to your first post I thought you were talking about E-Readers, like Kindle. It wasn't until your second post that I understood what you were saying.

Its probably going to be a bit till I have time to figure this out, but I've added it to my work list. Thank you for bringing it to my attention! I'll post an update when I have a solution.

Thanks. finding blind accessable RPGs is sadly rare.

I had not thought about that. Now I am.

Just an update: I am still working on this. I kind of decided that I'd do alt text for every illustration in the book... and theres a lot of them. We're doing a big PDF update next month (I think) and I'm hoping this will be part of it.

thanks! this means a lot.

Finally updated! The  new version of the Yeld 2nd Edition PDF is available to download now. It 's been updated to include alt text for every image and comic. I'm thinking of this as a work in progress that will probably need more tuning, so if you or anyone else has any feedback please let me know!

The alt text seems to be good, but it's unreliable for my screen reader to say it aloud, is it possible to have a second plane .txt doc come with the book containing the text? just a direct copy and paste.  navigation is partly working. I can fiddle around on my end see if using a browser instead of acrobat gets better results or anything.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep working on it and see if I can make it a better experience. In the meantime, a .txt doc sounds like a good idea. I'll get on that as soon as I can. Thank you for the suggestion, and for taking the this to try this out!

all good, that'd be great, I'm excited to run a campaign with my friends, love the rotational role of GM.
