Hey, I played your game for a bit and filled out the form, but I just wanted to expand on my thoughts a bit:
So first of all I must ask, are you an artist? Because the graphics style and the UI is simply perfect and the lighting is great! However, at the start I think you would benefit from some kind of interactive tutorial because I'll be honest, I didn't properly read the bit at the start. I love the sounds, I think they suit the game perfectly. The music works well too, but it seems whenever any other sound is played the music pauses for a bit and that's a big turn off for me. I find the idea of procedural generation in this type of game quite interesting, I feel like for a game like this you wouldn't normally have something like that. I'm not saying remove it, it's a bonus I guess but it's a lot of extra work for not much benefit. Also last thing I'll touch on - I like the AI cars but they need to be spiced up a little, you could add cop mechanics or something, hence they are quite boring. Speaking of boring, I will say I playing your game for over 30 minutes and by then I was getting a bit bored despite the game being very addictive just because it felt like the same thing over and over. I'd hope adding something like cop mechanics that take away your money if you're speeding, pull you over, etc, would fix this.

Overall great game and I love the simplicity of it. If you wouldn't mind, is it okay if I kindly ask you to give some feedback on my game Slugger? I've been rebuilding it in a new engine and I want some feedback on the fundamental mechanics/art/sounds of the game before I continue to rebuild it. Here's the link: https://proxyfirewall.itch.io/slugger-neo

Good luck with your game,
ProxyFirewall.

Hi ProxyFirewall! (cool name)

thank you so much. i will add the cop mechanic to the game today. i was not able to play the slugger-neo since i am on a Linux machine. i played the slugs vs spider game. i really like how the music and gameplay match perfectly. i think the slugger-neo is the next version. my suggestion is to give the game screenshots to a ai and ask it so improve it based on what you want. that will give you some good ideas.

in my case, i have a couple of years of experience as a 3d artist. just playing around in blender and learning from youtube videos. let me know if you have any specific qurestions i can help you with

All good, I can easily make it compatible with other operating systems and the web but I haven’t got around to it because the game is in pre alpha so there isn’t really any point until it’s more of a fully fleshed game. Also about AI I don’t personally use it to actually create stuff like code and art for my game, I’d only use it for feedback on code and art but no more than that. The reason is tbh I like it to be authentic and something that I’ve made, tbh I think for me the extra work is worth it because you feel more in control.

that's a great perspective! please let me know when the game is available. looking forwards to it!

I've released an update which allows the game to be played in the browser however it may be slightly buggy and performance might not be the best, but give it a try when you have the time!
