Cool creepy little game. Like I already mentioned, the visuals really reminded me of Kid A Mnesia Exhibition in terms of style. You guys made a super atmospheric game. The red sky, textures, fog. It all looks awesome and adds the right vibe. The only thing, maybe it would be even cooler if you made all the objects in the game 3D with hand-drawn textures. So the trees would be 3D, like TVs, but that's just me nitpicking, heh

Gameplay... well... it's just usual Slender-like? Honestly, I expected something more interesting, even a short linear story game like "go there, get this, do something here, you win yaaay:3". But this is... well, collecting notes with a scary monster. The monster's effects are cool, the jumpscare too, it even scared me once. But it feels like with this style you should've gone in a different direction rather than just a Slenderman clone in 2026. Maybe there's some cool ass cutscene at the end, but I didn't get there, the monster cheats like hell or something XD

It's like you guys could really make something similar to Kid A Mnesia Exhibition. Look into games like LSD Dream Emulator, Ena Dream BBQ, The New Flesh, Cement Mixer Simulator 2003, and other games about vibe and atmosphere. I had a bug btw) On my first try, I had no stamina bar, no walking sounds, and no monster either. Then I fell into a pit (don't do that btw, I was fucking upset I had to restart), restarted, and everything worked. BUT... I really enjoyed just walking around and exploring the location:D That was super cool and vibey, and I got way more enjoyment from that stroll than from the Slender gameplay, sorry not sorry

So, the game is good, even scary, as a first project like this it's cool. But this type of game is just a tiny bit outdated now. I wish you luck in your future projects, maybe you should really try making an atmospheric game, I think it would turn out awesome<3

Thank you so much for such a detailed review, I really appreciate it.

Regarding the bugs on the first launch—I'm aware of them; restarting the level usually helps with that.

The decision to make a Slender clone was a bit of a desperate one, because we didn't really know what kind of gameplay to build around our visual style. But if we ever make something else, it will definitely be more thought-out and complex.

Thanks again for the review and the advice.
