Just finished this and i’m sorry to say that I’m disappointed…. That it was only a one-shot! I’ll be honest, I generally stay away from monsterfucker stuff, it doesn’t really interest me as much with a couple exceptions (t4t being one of the ones that made me purchase this book) but what really made me stay was the worldbuilding and characterization. I desperately wish there was more to learn about these guys. I do know about the first book of the series with the serpent, but i remember seeing a comment from you saying that it was less worldbuilding and more focused on the relationship/smut, which is fine but not really what i’m looking for. Please correct me if i’m wrong, though! Alltogether I really liked this one! Great job!

(Although for some reason the epub cuts the cover image in half)

YAAAA I AM SO GLAD, THANK YOU FOR READING!!! There is nothing I love more than laying out roadmaps for a big sweeping world with rich history and plopping weird sexy characters into a small part of it. Serpent, just by nature of being the first (and much shorter) definitely has tastes & hints of the lore but keeps it vaguer since we were just beginning to figure it out. The mini sequel will have much more story meat involving Vicon, the history of Katchek, and the other natural-born Sorcerers 🫶 As for more of the Howler boys, they’ll be popping in and out of at least a few of the remaining stories, AND I’ll try to get another sketchbook (maybe story/lore focused?) together sometime this year, since a lot of their extra art and info is scattered across mine and my husband’s bluesky accounts 🙈 But again, thank you for taking the time to read and to tell me so!!! These weird little wizards are like porcelain babies in my living room…I love looking at them, but the greatest joy in my life is having someone else look too.
