Thanks for reporting this. I’m sorry you ran into issues. I definitely want to track this down and resolve it.

To help me reproduce it, could you let me know:

o Which BETA version are you playing (current is v1.91)

o Your Windows version

o CPU, GPU, and RAM, if available

When you say the game bogs down, does it feel like consistent lag or a freeze? And does the restart happen every time when leaving the first town heading south, or only sometimes?

If you have a screenshot of the crash log, that would be extremely helpful.

I'm on the current version of the game.....I run the bare specs to play the game.....So it could be on my end lol

Thanks for the update.

Please download the new BETA v1.92, which includes fixes for world map lag, and follow the instructions in the README to transfer your save.

If you’re running at minimum specs, a few quick checks may help:

o Make sure GPU drivers are up to date

o Set Windows/GPU power modes to “Max/High Performance”

o Ensure the drive containing the game has at least ~30–35% free space

Lastly, does the issue cause a freeze or a crash/restart? If it crashes, a screenshot of the crash log would help me pinpoint the cause.
