This game was so good! I loved it, I was aiming for the love ending and I got it and I am so glad because the ending was so sweet in the endearingly weird fucked up way that Eddie and the MC are.
The writing was hot, Eddie was equal parts creepy/puppyboy/chainsmoking 29 year old blue collar man in the most realistic sense, and the MC was hilarious. 100 billion extra bonus points for allowing the MC to be a smoker. Not enough dating sims especially ones where you can play as a female MC allow you to smoke a dang cigarette even if the love interest(s) are going through 8 packs a day.
It was a game that knew its audience and knew how to built tension- in all senses of the word- at the right moments.
I saw the red flags, remembered I looked good in red, draped me in them, and now Eddie is my beloved husband forever and ever because what a cutie puppy boy even when he's uhhhh a criminal.
