Okay go reveal a bit much, one of the first times I tried to put one of my projects out there publically and to see if I could sell it, someone made a video where they shit on the art I did for it. I knew my art wasn't great but it still really hurt. When getting back to game dev all these years later, it was always a comment which stung. But I ended up deciding to embrace it. Yeah my art is shitty so fuck you. Here's more of it. I kind of both leaned into some aspects of making it looking shitty while leaning into animations that would essentially balance out my own imperfections. I do like the style I settled on. But I still call it shitty as a fuck you embrace to hurtful comments years ago
