Gee dang that game was charming, from the beautiful art style to the simply written characters, everything was just so stylistically charming. The sprites and environments looked really good as well, everything in the bakery looked really detailed and the apartments and character sprites that all look different from each other which I was very impressed with, in the town area really stood out to me as well put together and I could see that effort and care were put into every little sprite and tile and that really grabbed my attention and made me appreciate the world more. All of the cutscene backgrounds and scenes were really cool to see too, I really think all of your character designs shined in the cutscenes and I loved to see them changing their expression to fit the situation and not just being all static-faced. One more thing I liked relating to the art style was the design of our main character, she is so cute, especially in those last cutscenes, and her design really does fit the small town baker aesthetic quite well. The baking mechanics were very nicely executed, gathering ingredients is simple enough and it never really felt repetitive even though they were used as the games main mechanic and never added to, but they didn't need to be. I also liked the recipe book actually being useful for more than one thing. To fire off some quick things I noticed about this game: the note in the snow was a cool little nod to the developer, the font was a little bit hard to read but I'll chalk it up to it being stylistic, the sound effects are a really nice touch, the tiny sparkle animations on the customers was really cool to see in an engine that is so limited in the amount of expressive animations you can have, all of the cookie art looked delicious, I liked the recipe book opening on the last page you left it on, the dialogue of the townspeople is a little flat but I'll excuse it for the simple fact that their dialogue changes between days which is something I can really appreciate and admire, and I like how this entire towns winter tradition revolves around this one baker. All in all this game was really solid and did a good job at being simple yet really stylistically charming and fun, great work!
