yeah, the demo is basically just going to me gradually releasing patreon updates for free. most bugs have been resolved in the patreon verison, and all of the behaviors you'll see are intentional. black screen typically just means end-of-content. if you want to see whats available as far as endings/content i recommend looking at the patch notes
