Nice work! Cool to see another person using Gamemaker, seems pretty uncommon for some reason.
I never really played pvz but this is fun! I think a slightly expanded color palette would help my eyes a little bit, and I pressed escape which instantly took me to main menu halfway through a level x_x
I really like the sprites and music, and I am happy to see this style of art on here. Love live hand-drawn <3
Thank you so much, really! Actually, here's a fun fact: hours before uploading the game, we realized we hadn't programmed anything to let you exit the game or any level, so at the last minute I programmed the escape key to return to the menu. Oops! Haha.
By the way, Game Maker is really good for making games pretty quickly. I personally want to learn Godot, but I'm having a hard time transitioning to Godot itself. xD
