I'll chime in on the feedback here:
I got to agree, the new beastkin faces look a bit weird, given that we've seen a fair share of beastkin in the first game and this one who don't seem to have snouts at all (Mae, Savra, whatever Wolf-Girl and Catgirl's name was from the first game)
Tanuki and Cat come to mind here first since we've seen previous instances of them looking different.
On Wolfes and Foxes/ Caninines it looks fitting, though we've seen a wolf without the snout before too.
