Well she you can use her skill before the fight start... and you just play the game without Victoria join the party first? Lucky I am add update go to the castle first..

Just go to the astle first and you can see the stroy unfold there. Right now I am add side quest as progress. Bit of spoil. you do 10 side quest to unlock the main quest of the kingdom. You explore more city and met more of the remain of the demon lord's army.
