I agree! I really loved the game...and I can never play it again. The story pulled me in, I was emotionally invested and it destroyed me ._.
I unlocked all four endings and I know one of them is is supposed to be the "good" ending, but I was unhappy with all of them and two were just brutal T_T

Totally agree. One of the best written stories I've ever played through. I can't think of many games that I've been as emotionally invested in as I played through than this one. A tragic and complex love story so beautifully and poignantly done, that I don't think my heart could handle ever playing through it again.
i agree. i don’t think i can replay it even for the smut T_T .. that was brutal. i’m pretty sure that’s my first time crying over a smut game lol.

i interpreted the “best” ending as exon and mc reincarnating as humans and reuniting in every life as soulmates. this interpretation makes the ending feel happier and more ideal. they get to live their full lives together normally, passing away of old age, and repeating with each reincarnation. this is essentially what they wanted.
