Is it worth starting over again? Of course. But if you don't want to do that, just copy your save game folder to the new route and then continue where they left off last time
This is not the way, since there are changes to variables early in the game. Doing this will be a short-term solution that, in the long term, will seriously fuck up your playthrough in the future. I don't recommend this!
