Lovely bit of fun! I especially like the detailed methodology and the discussion of people changing as they "evolve"—an often-overlooked aspect of any personality sorting game. Results for posterity:

Weird to get the same primary/secondary type but a different monotype (makes sense with the described methodology of course) but I guess the takeaway here is no matter what, Imma get wrecked by fighting moves :p My traits are ... simply perfect. No notes.

Since we are invited to mention questions where we didn't quite match with any answer, here are mine. Some of them are maybe a little bit close to existing answers? But there's a difference in tone that feels important to me (and of course, I know you're not obligated to add anything!). But in any case:

  • [Q7] "That I'm truly happy being myself."
  • [Q12] "Ooh, this factors perfectly into my existing plans to lie around and play video games."
  • [Q13] "Digital is my preferred medium anyway. Perfectionism demands an undo button."
  • [Q14] "Thorough. I want to understand the puzzles and make sure everybody gets a go; just getting lucky defeats the point!"
  • [Q18] "Overexplain and argue relentlessly until we reach a conclusion that satisfies me."
  • [Q19] "Definitely more stressed, but I have to admit I'll enjoy this excuse to hyperfocus."
  • [Q20] "I was only going to invite my closest friends anyway—they won't need convincing." (or equally "Even if I wanted to, my home is MUCH too small for a party." :p)
  • [Q24] "I couldn't care less what the media has to say about things I love. It's probably just clickbait anyway."
  • [Q29] "My physical/mental comfort and convenience" (And on behalf of my beloved partner: "The needs of my partner or roommate." )
  • [Q36] "I care so little about my appearance that I probably don't even realise they're talking about me."
  • [Q49] "I'll try to block out the noise—they probably don't mean for me to hear their personal stuff. But I'll ask later in case they need to talk."

If anything though, I had more problems with questions where more than one answer is equally as correct (for example—on the buffet, I am absolutely as gluttonous as I am picky). Given the methodology, could this maybe work just as well allowing multiple answers to a question?

Um. Apologies for the essay, it got a bit out of hand <XD And great work :}

Hey hey, first off, I'm glad you had fun with this! And I love so much that you read and enjoyed the methodology section, it warms my heart so greatly :)

These are some really good answer suggestions, and written in such a helpful/stylish way, no less! I especially like the ones for Q36 (that is a great new angle!) and Q29 (this is one of those answers that I myself would probably choose). Your suggestions are realistically nuanced (and also quite sweet, imho) and they make a great case for why there should be a mechanic where you can select multiple options for each question.

I did indeed have plans to implement that multiple-answer mechanic, but other life things have taken priority (AKA I sadly need to focus on things that can legally make money) and it's unlikely that I'll have the space to get it done.

But I still really like the idea! So what I'm gonna do instead is make all my data publicly available (which is still gonna take a minute, 'cuz my notes are hilariously messy) and then if someone is out there wants to make something more nuanced (I hope they do!) they can use that data however they want.

Anyway, thank you again for the amazing comment and the kind words - clearly I'm a fan of long-ish responses myself. I hope you have a lovely day :)
