Here is my review. Rating would be a 6 out of 10 Spoilers ahead. The good. The dialogue is great fits the setting and story and honors the original quite well just a lot of great lines. The moving and the walking is done and the navigation of how it is to be so big. The side characters are true to character generally and honor the original. The setting was nice it felt 90's in most ways and that was great. Tiny interaction, how she interacted with small people was very well done the grabbing and movement. Honey redemption, Honey becoming a good character was great. The bad. The fluff, there is probably around 150 pages that should be cut it's extremely repetitive and this wouldn't be too bad except for the story ends so abruptly that is just ruins the whole thing. Military, the military action was kept small like there was no huge response no big weapons brought out I don't even mean nukes, just no big bunker busters and yes those were around back then, it was wise to go with a sedative which was the correct answer just surprising the military just didn't even try. Invulnerable, Honey seemed way too durable not getting a mark at all from missiles but glass somehow hurt her some, strange. Red herring, well the whole time over and over we talk about Nancy gets stressed she grows stressed she grows, over and over, but well it just never happens in the story there's no payoff it's pretty egregious and bad storytelling I assume we never caught there due to the abrupt ending. No climax to the story, there's no real 3rd act climax, Honey's fight is a repeat of Nancy's just with Honey doing it, it's not really a fight either there was no real escalation and she was in even less danger and then the giantess caught the men they had already caught several times, which they had already forgiven the men mostly other than the husband which she never really got closure with at all they never had the actual talk that Nancy wanted. Really what had been building up didn't happen the two should of reunited then went to have fun and Nancy would like it at first then get appalled at Honey's behavior and her mass destruction as well as her being larger and they would fight and it would be one sided at first and escalate and grow and then one would win and they would make up, then the ending could have happened that was shown, but nope. Very abrupt ending, this is basically what destroyed this great story. It is clear that the author was tired of writing this and just stopped and boom ending, the aliens (which by the way there were no aliens author changed it to AI which is a whole other problem) teleported them out of there which means Honey didn't need to do a thing or grow, the alien ship could have just teleported Nancy the whole time, it truly ruins the story that so much incredible great work was put into. Such an epic tale and boom absolutely no satisfaction. The ending itself isn't bad, just literally opened up plot holes and came out of nowhere to end the story.
