Great news: We just pushed Update v1.7 (High Stakes & Heavy Hitters), which includes a massive rebalancing pass based on your report and similar feedback. Rare Candy costs now scale drastically with PokΓ©mon level (goodbye instant lvl 500!), we added proper level caps, implemented move replacement pop-ups when leveling with candies, and fixed the progression block past City #2 Wave 10 (no more infinite loop – beating the boss now grants the badge and unlocks the next area).

Where to find candies: They appear in the Team tab (top menu) – look for the candy counter and spend button right there once you've collected some from waves/chests/mining. A screenshot on the game page shows exactly where they are.

Best way to experience the new balance: β†’ Start a fresh new save! Old saves may feel way too easy now or even have compatibility issues after the big changes. A new run will give you the intended challenge and progression flow.
