Hmm... reminds me of Piltover vs Zaun ngl in Arcane S1
Very great game with MASSIVE amount of content in story and worldbuilding that exists (like holy s the codex) even if it's the early chapters, like seriously the pacing? Perfect n the characters? They feel real n then the overall writing everywhere (even if I haven't checked all dialogue options) is wonderful. Personally? I have to say that I myself aspire this kind of quality and I am really looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Now onto what I liked most about each chapter so far from memory which is like a goldfish sooo SPOILERS ahead:
- Prologue: Dreamwalker and Vergessbar's entire dialogue and how it connects to probably what happened with our sibling (which i swear if they're dead or brainwashed i am killing everyone in Attollo-)
- Ch. 1 (Inner city and not having done docks): God damn meeting fucking Vergessbar and him just casually leaving because he has no god damn idea who we are after Neil leaves us or smth and GOD that trope makes me mad but like GOD it drew me into this story ffs. Also meeting Caravoja. yeah it terrifies me and that's cool-
- Ch. 2: ngl i have like 0 memories but i think this is where you can go to La Rumeur and make eye contact with Dreamwalker?? Because that was sick to realize on the next page that it was him (EDIT: So that was apparently also part of Chapter 3, so what I actually enjoyed from Ch. 2 was meeting Pariah and, of course, The Decaying God: Caravoja)
- Ch. 3: Meeting Dreamwalker and the damn voice effect was so cool and dope as hell. Potentially potentially meeting/seeing W (WHICH I SWEAR STANDS FOR "WENDIGO" BECAUSE OF THE STAG SKULL) which is SICK plus that the text has its own timing just makes it SO much more cinematic and immersive to me in a way that we are at a disadvantage and out of control (and like how it's also since Ch. 1 been there in a bit which is cool)
- Ch. 4 (Up to Sysba's part, going for Pariah as of writing): Abundance of lore and choices nearing the end for the real split on what you're interested in, which here then I took Sysba for this run bc I'm trying to get as much information as desperately as I can. Anyway yeah the god damn option to kiss in the end there? Yikes. That was great for a 6021 year old deity-
Now that I've done Pariah's part I like that it sort-of involved all three of Pariah, Deadlock and Vasilisa (even if the other two are short). The thing I like most is the descriptions of the PIGS EATING HUMAN FLESH. Very descripitive. Very nightmarish. Thanks, I hate the barn and have become concerned we'll end up like Lester since Ch. 1.
10/10 game, want more. Very much recommended. Can't wait for Ch. 5. Just please let our sibling at least be sane n alive n well n not brainwashed or some stuff my heart can't take that pls pls-
