omg thank you so much! :D

i'm glad you liked the presentation! i have limited art experience so i always try to get creative with the visuals of my games, whether it's using different styles or making everything really simple. even if it's nothing amazing, i'm proud of how the art in this game turned out and i'm happy that people seem to enjoy it!

i'll fully admit i kind of struggled with presenting a story with only bits and pieces of information given as the player goes on. to me, that approach worked best with this story, but i don't have a ton of experience with that format so i'm sorry it was confusing! i'm really glad you liked the ending though, tbh to me the ending is kind of the most important part of a game? cuz it leaves the most lasting impression. i always put a lot of effort into making my endings satisfying, so it's great to hear it paid off for you :>

tbh a big part of the repetitive gameplay was due to the fact that i had like, a week to finish this game. when the jam started i had an idea for a game but i got too busy to finish it, and then i got a second idea but the jam was about to end, so i made the gameplay loop like it does to avoid the full game lasting only 3 minutes XD i still think the loop itself fits the game and drives everything home, but even when playtesting i noticed that it got a bit annoying to repeat the days so many times haha. still, it's good to hear you thought it fit the theme well!

thank you for playing!! <3
