I'm gonna throw my two cents in the ring since everyone else is. I feel like the situation can be remedied pretty easily. Raliv's biggest issue is Itch delisiting adult games and Steam rejecting Archipelagates. Raliv should just release a "new game" on Steam in early access or even just a private playtest and give all Archipelagate owners a key.

Raliv's biggest strength is their ability to make good tech (character customization, fluid, physics, animation, etc), that's what everyone's mostly been drawn to so the context of the game itself (the islands) doesn't really matter much. The new game should have the same tech under a different sandbox context and will hopefully warrant a content review from Steam independent of the whole Archipelagates debacle.

Let's face it, Archipelagates is dead. But that doesn't mean it has to be the be all end all for Raliv's career and following. Game dev is complicated and things fail, but there's always a way forward! :D
