Playing with a local compile of the latest git updates. I received from an empty lair: "Inside you find a Orion's Belt, a Word of God, a Shield of Evasion, a Amulet of Battle, a Elven Ring of Health and 12 mana crystals."
Game started using Quick Start from the main menu, then saved, restarted the game, and loaded.
It appears that there is an error with saving or loading monster location denizens; another dungeon gave me "Inside you find the retort Artificer, a Zir Daun, a Light Mail Shirt, a Sword of Mallana and 62 gold coins."
I have explored three monster locations; the first one gave me 194 mana crystals.
