I have met with an issue. After Anne (or whatever her name is) told me about the inspection, when I tried to go back to the house it doesn't work and keeps me in the village, but I can interact with the knife

So i have just found a solution that worked for me: if you still have a save file from the day before you went to the city and talked to the tavern girl load it stay home and just sleep through the day it should reset it.It worked for me i dont know if it'll work for you too.
