You are absolutly right, my problem was that I wasn't happy with my first couple ideas for the theme so I ended up starting all over again for a few times, what forced me to think of a really simple game because of the lack of time.
So the idea was that as the house get bigger it gets easier to collect more balloons and not falling through the holes in the ground.
the ground than break if you are too big or heavy.
