Firstly, thank you for playing! I don't know why winrar is being weird about extracting the files. The block of text actually isn't/wasn't for the revolver, but for the terminals and objective objects - the text can be turned off in the options menu.
Genuinely surprised that you played on the hardest difficulty and made it through 87% of the demo.
