Yes, that’s correct. We’ve made the access here the same as on Patreon. Each version needs to be purchased separately if you want early access. Alternatively, you can simply wait a bit and play the game for free.

Well, that's highly disappointing, as it's not clear to users here when they're "Purchasing" the game that the same early access to future iterations will not be included. I'd highly recommend taking an approach similar to Pure Onyx if you intend to continue this model, so that it's clear to users what they are purchasing.
