You’re right – at this stage the game has more polish than tuning. Input feel and physics are definitely the next big thing I need to work on.

I totally agree about momentum. Right now the helicopter stops too abruptly, and adding acceleration/deceleration and some inertia would make movement feel more alive and dynamic. That’s high on my to-do list.

Your point about difficulty is also spot on. I’m planning to:

  • make level 1 more gradual

  • introduce fewer enemies at the start

  • give players a “safe space” to test movement and shooting

  • then scale up to bigger encounters
