Before the Worms pulls out the core of horror conspiracy roleplaying. It is the rawest, simplest, most clear-eyed portrayal I've seen of the fear and drama that we try to achieve when playing games like Delta Green, Night's Black Agents, Hunter, or any other game where mortals stand against monsters. It speaks to familiar suffering and gives the best answer a game can give. I want to tell everyone about this game. Even if you never intend to play it, worth reading to think about when designing other horror works.

Set an adventure in either the town where you live or a thinly-disguised copy. (I'm going to call this close enough.)

Thank you so much for these incredibly kind words.

Regardless of what people do with this game, or if it even ends up being played, the fact that people like yourself can see clearly what I am attempting to communicate through it... truly means the world to me. Thank you again, and if you ever have any further feedback or questions, I'd love to hear them, especially  you ever get a chance to play it.

(PS, funnily enough, I did in fact set the playtest of the game in my hometown!)
