Fun read, I enjoyed learning about the thought process behind the game's design and also getting some recommendations as a bonus! While having an overarching narrative may work against the interests of an extra, extra casual audience, I think it fills a relatively uncrowded niche in the crowded puzzle space for people who are looking for that little bit more, which makes it special. The story and setting definitely create investment/attachment, which cannot as easily be replaced by a similar (mechanics-wise) game. It has a strong identity. The weekly arcs and generous hint system also feel like a fair compromise, I think. 🤗
