Thanks for the detailed report. We can’t reproduce this bug so far, but I’ll double-check the logic on my side. Really appreciate you taking the time to explain it.
Ok, I just randomely managed to find the solution the game intended for it and took 2 screenshots, one of a solution that did not work and one of the solution that worked if it can help solving this issue. I do feel like being able to connect both ends without the game registering it is kinda frustrating. Tell me if you want me to post the screenshots here or somewhere else.
