You couldn't be more right. I get the game cant be on steam so its hard for him to make money. but like you said the Patreon subs should be making enough money for this game to be a hobby piece?
I'm pretty sad I've been following this dude since his DPS work in VRC lol.
He made, 1,556$ last month. Assuming he made roughly that much every month from June, he shouldve made in the ball park of 10, to 9 grand.
208 people who are paying into the patreon are not seeing anything of their money go towards this game anymore. I genuinely dont understand or know where all this money goes.
I dont wanna come off as an ass, but he genuinely cant expect the games he's making to be sustainable income for him. I personally dont see how this is acceptable especially from the people who are paying into the patreon monthly.
sad. I guess he just took all the money and bailed instead of trying to invest in devs or advertising.
Like no offence to the game but its pretty fucking bleak rn. if he used the money to pay for better things in the game like graphics and make it look like not a WIP game maybe more people would pay for it. like I think the only reason any of us started giving this dude money wasn't for the game. it was for what the game COULD be.
Also he should've given us a update plan. It started showing red flags when he seemingly had no end idea in mind.
yeah, like i dont even want to get started on the discord. It in my opinion, although simple, is a mess.
Practically 3 games in there, one of which i believe was the reason for the big delay for the 0.9 to 0.10 update. Highly doubt any of the patreon money went to that so dont go grabbing a pitch fork for that.
they did not bail im sure they had delays due to the issues with the whole censorship stuff and had a hard time with money due to that pause and had to catch up on bills and such and im pretty sure they said this game is not fully dead because they know people love it. they clearly stated they are not statisfyed with there skills on creation and such for the game and rather improve on thre skills before continueing because they want the game to be something people will love and im sure they stated a few times that is the reason this game has been quiet because they want to go to collage or such to improve theres skills to create these better for us all
