Thanks for the commenting on my very first pico-8 game project! Mouse controls are not enabled so you have to use the pico controls which are x for button 1 and z for button 2. If you open the game from a cell phone there will be a virtual game pad.
I had not even considered using mouse controls, but I think its possible, I'll try it out in the next one.
