CHANGO is arguably the greatest indie horror title ever made. More than just a game, it's a mystery, a tale, a roller coaster of emotions.
From the moment you enter the game, to the crypto guy, to the AI cart, to the corny young couple; this work of art never ceases to amaze me. The red sky, sphere trees and the trash can in the dark alley. An atmosphere so immersive it makes you feel like you're inside it. We laugh with the quirky characters, and cry and share grief with them when they lose someone. We live and die with them. Such a unique and original yet terrifyingly well executed horror concept.
But nothing could've prepared me for the ending that I, can confidently say, turned me into another person for the rest of my life. The heads in the cart, the deafening sound, the giant monster coming from beneath the mall, sucking anything and everything. And then...
silence.
CHANGO is a masterpiece of our generation, and unfortunately vastly underappreciated by us, too. Truly an all time great work of fiction, this absolute gem never fails to fill me with happiness, sadness, terror... and life.
-sincerely, the biggest CHANGO fan.
