Hey! Thanks for you reply. I want to start with 2d as I feel its easier and quicker for solo/smaller teams. I am open to both 2d and 3d if the timeline works, but since this is my first real game project, I would like to stick with the easier one.
So, right now I am trying to come up with the core game mechanic and the story using the theme image. I just started today.

BTW, I have tried Blender as well, but it takes time to learn, which I don't have.

What you said makes sense. So what kind of 2d game are you going to make? Like a platform/puzzle game or others? Is there any existing game as a reference for me? As for art style, I prefer 2D Kirby/Undertale style, and a more hand-drawn or anime style is also fine. I'm willing to discuss more about the theme or mechanic, or art style. Let me know if there's anything I could do.
