You'll keep whatever you earned during the Halloween event, but the NPC will be gone and anything left undone will be lost. I'd recommend grinding out all the events in the order they were released, then starting a save in the Christmas event here if you want all the goodies that've released so far, thankfully phracassado actually keeps the old updates up as pages here.
