Today (20.12.2025) I needed more than a year but now I updated the sna and tap files with v2.2-rc1. You should be able to use the Kempston joystick now on the ZX Spectrum version. The detection is automatically. Please let me know if it works for you.

OK, automatic detection does not really work. Instead I uploaded a .sna and a .tap file with a version for the Kempston joystick.
Only use this if you attach a Kempston joystick otherwise you might notice random movement.
The joystick supports only the first player and allows for 1 button only.
