Thanks for your feedback. On the full game, i expect that it'll be more interesting to buy other heroes after the early game. The warriors are more a early game unit, then as you have more money, buying the wizard and elf more expensive upgrades will make them more powerful. That's my idea at least. I might need to balance the numbers to make it so.
I'll try to explain the mana better and try to fix the bug you mentioned.
