The game works correctly on linux. I, in fact, use linux too.
You can open it with WINE, yeah, but it may have some problems, so I recomend open it with SteamProton instead

what are your pc specs? which one is your OS? are you using wine? Proton? which version? which version of the game are you playing? how are you launching the game?
