Unfortunally, there's another sequence break in the Boss level of the nightclub. And it's directly after defeating Night and watching the cutscene, where the game just remains dark with music playing in the background, presumably from the second half of the bossfight.
Worst part is that it still doesn't let it count as "completed" even after alt+f4-ing.
Guess I won't be checking out the arcade legitimately for tonight.
