Christmas break, often called
Winter Break, is a holiday period for schools and sometimes workplaces, typically lasting about two weeks from mid-to-late December until early January, centered around Christmas and New Year's Day, giving students and staff time off for rest and family celebrations. While sometimes called Christmas Break to honor the holiday, many institutions now use the broader "Winter Break" to be inclusive of diverse winter celebrations, though the timing remains consistent with the festive season. (I got this info off of google so credit to google)
POV, schools that don’t do breaks be like: Students: YAYYAYAYAYAYAYAY!! TIME FOR BREAK!! Teacher: NO, TOMORROW, YOU RETURN. Students: MAN WHAT THE- *class crashes out over not getting a break lol* needless to say, ur school is an L for not letting breaks be a thing like it feels like when ur parents tell u “BACK IN MY DAY, OUR SCHOOLS HAD NO BREAKS, OR A WEEKEND AT ALL. WE HAD TO GO THERE EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR THE WHOOOOLLLLLEEEEE YEAR.”
