At the moment, they just lower your intelligence, or raise your arousal. They might do some other things later on (either the cards modify them, or I just implement a different mechanic)
thank you for the clarification, just to provide an idea, consuming the candies could give cards that edits the effects of the candies themselves. I am excited to see what you decide to do nonetheless.
