Yeah I've picked that up from other comments, Problem is, They're not lit for some reason. Is there something I have to do to light them? I've "beaten" the game and gotten to the screen that tells me that it's all for now, If that affects it.
Ah okay, I understand your issue. The rune fires won't light until you go to the stone door they unlock. to get to it, you head as far left as you can, past the entrance to the thorny maze. The door will light up with three runes, and the fires should be lit at that point. Hope that that helps.
